Orlando, Fla. ? Kansas University sophomore Kelsey Kessler threw a complete-game four-hitter and struck out a KU-record and career-best 15 in a 1-0 Kansas University softball victory over Chattanooga on Sunday in the UCF Knights Invitational.
Kessler (1-1) didn’t walk a batter over the full seven innings.
KU will face Fordham on Friday in the first of five games at the College of Charleston Classic in Charleston, W.Va.
