? Kansas University freshman Pornvipa Sakdee tied for fourth, and the KU women’s golf team claimed its second title of the fall season on Monday at the Palmetto Intercollegiate.

Sakdee shot 74-74-69-217 to tie for fourth, three strokes back of winner Melissa Siviter of Georgia State.

As a team, Kansas won with 876 strokes. Runner-up Georgia State shot 879.

All five KU golfers finished in the top 25: Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, tied for seventh; Minami Levonowich, tied for 11th; Thanuttra Boonraksasat, tied for 14th; and Meghan Potee, tied for 22nd.

“It was great to see Faii notch a top-5 finish and break 70 in the final round,” coach Erin O’Neil said. “Yupaporn and Thanuttra also went low for us in the final round which really helped seal the deal.”

The tournament marked the end of KU’s fall season.
