KU women’s golf leading Palmetto

? Kansas University’s Minami Levonowich and Pornvipa Sakdee shot 2-over 74s in the first round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Sunday at the par-72 Turtle Point Golf course, an event suspended due to darkness.

Before the suspension, Levonowich played her way to third place at even-par, and Sakdee was tied for seventh at 4-over.

KU leads the 19-team field through one round.

Other KU first-round scores: Meghan Potee, tied for 14th, 76, +5; Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, tied for 17th, 75, +6; and Thanuttra Boonraksasat, tied for 28th, 74, +8.
