KU swimming extends lead at Kansas Classic

? The Kansas University swimming and diving team extended its lead, 679.5-523, over second-place Iowa State on Day 2 of the Kansas Classic, Saturday at Capitol Federal Natatorium.

Placing first for KU were: Chelsie Miller (400 IM), Morgan Sharp (200 free), Yuleya Kuchkarova (100 back) and the 100-free relay team of Sammie Schurig, Sharp, Haley Molden and Malia Johnson.

The meet ends today.
