Kansas University’s Chris Gilbert was been selected to participate in the NCAA golf regionals.

Gilbert, who tied for 10th at the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club two weeks ago and carded the nation’s 33rd-best scoring average (71.67) throughout the regular season, will make his second-career NCAA appearance after also making regional play as a sophomore in 2011. Gilbert was one of five individuals selected to play in the Arkansas Regional on May 16-18 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
