KU baseball falls to Eagles

? Eastern Michigan collected a season-high 16 hits and earned a split of the four-game weekend series with an 11-6 baseball victory over Kansas University on Sunday at QuikTrip Park.

KU managed nine hits and fell to 6-5. EMU improved to 3-7.

The Eagles collected their 16 hits off seven KU pitchers, including starter Drew Morovick (0-1).

Kansas is scheduled to face Niagara in the Jayhawks’ home opener at 3 p.m. Thursday.
