Miami Lakes, Fla. ? Kansas University golfer Yupaporn Kawinpakorn carded two even-par rounds to tie for third place after the first day of the Sir Pizza Terrapin Challenge on Monday.
As a team, the Jayhawks also sit in third place with a two-round total of 597. KU trails leader North Carolina State (590) and Florida International (591) heading into today’s final round.
Kansas’ Meghan Potee is also at the top of the leaderboard, firing rounds of 74 and 73 for eighth place.
