Chattanooga, Tenn. ? Kansas University rowing finished the fall season Sunday at The Head of the Hooch, placing second and fifth in the Open Quad.
Senior Olivia Kinet, junior Alex Torquemada, sophomore Angie Flores and freshman Maggie Duncan were in the top KU boat.
The spring season will kick off March 8-10, 2013, at the Oklahoma Invite. During the spring season, KU will row in seven competitions, host the Big 12 Championships and finish with the Conference USA Championships, which will determine if KU qualifies for the NCAA Championships.
