Kansas golf team takes 16th at UCF

? The Kansas University women’s golf team finished in 16th place after the final round of the 18-team UCF Challenge on Tuesday.

As a team, the Jayhawks had their worst day of the tournament on Tuesday, scoring a combined 309.

Katy Nugent tied for 38th place at the tournament and led KU in the third round, with a 3-over-75. Meghan Potee (tied for 58th) also hit a 75 on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks will take two weeks off before competing on Feb. 27 at the Sir Pizza CARDS Challenge in Weston, Fla.
