Kansas volleyball drops match to No. 16 Iowa State

Kansas lost to No. 16 Iowa State, 22-25, 17-25, 15-25, on Wednesday at the Horejsi Center. The match-up against the Cyclones (12-2, 3-0) was the Jayhawks’ (11-3, 0-2) first home match in 25 days.

Caroline Jarmoc, the No. 2 shot-blocker in Big 12 play, led Kansas with three blocks and nine kills. Outside hitter Allison Mayfield did not record double-digit kills for the first time this season.

Kansas will play Baylor at 7 p.m. Saturday in Waco, Texas.
