More than 200 people came out to support the Kansas University women’s basketball team and the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Breast Center on Saturday afternoon for the seventh-annual Bonnie Henrickson Golf Tournament at Alvamar Golf Club.
The four-person scramble tournament included about 160 golfers. Proceeds from an auction went to benefit the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Breast Center.
“This is always a great day to spend with our fans,” said Henrickson, who is beginning her eighth season at Kansas.
