Kansas University junior tennis player Monica Pezzotti began the first day of the Kansas Invitational by going undefeated in both singles and doubles play on Friday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
The Jayhawks went 4-3 in singles play and 4-2 in doubles competition on day one.
The Jayhawk Invitational will continue at 9 a.m. today.
