? ESPN’s Longhorn Network has announced a second Texas football game that it will carry in its inaugural season, and the first Big 12 matchup.

A Longhorn Network statement says it will carry the Oct. 29 game between Texas and Kansas in Austin. The network will carry the game exclusively except in Kansas.

In Kansas, the Jayhawk Television Network will produce its first-ever statewide football telecast that day.

The game will air in HD on over-the-air stations in Kansas City and throughout the state of Kansas.

“We’re pleased to partner with the Longhorn Network and the IMG College staffs in Austin and Lawrence,” KU athletic director Sheahon Zenger said. “We’re proud that this collaboration guarantees that our Jayhawk Network can bring this game to our fans.”
