Beginning this year USBC and Collegiate Officials made a rule that you may only bring 3 teams to a Tier 2 tournament and you have to declare one as varsity. Tier 1 tournaments which have 50 or more schools competing, you can only bring 1 team "the varsity team".

Nationals is always aired on ESPN 2 however you can watch live streaming of selected tournaments on

Can someone tell me how to find out more information about the KU bowling team? I thought I read something a while back that mentioned they offered summer bowling camps as well, but now I can not seem to locate that information. My son has bowled on his high school varsity bowling team for the past 3 years and he will be a senior next year. His current average in team bowling is 194. He is interested in KU as it has both a bowling team and aerospace engineering degrees. Any information on the bowling program would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes we host an annual summer bowling camp but nothing has been confirmed for the 2012 camp. I would be more than happy to discuss the bowling team with you; however I do not think it's appropriate to do talk on this blog. You can email me at Thanks!
