ISU receiver charged with robbery

— Iowa State backup receiver Albert Gary has been charged with first-degree robbery stemming from a June incident in Ames.

University police say the 22-year-old third-year sophomore from Ocala, Fla., surrendered to the Story County sheriff Tuesday. He’s being held on $25,000 bond.

Gary is accused in a June 19 campus robbery.

Coach Paul Rhodes said Monday that Gary had been suspended for three games.
