The Kansas University softball team received national letters of intent from shortstop Chaley Brickey, utility player Alex Hugo, pitcher Kelsey Kessler and infielder Kylee Kennedy for its 2012 signing class on Thursday.
“This is a really important class,” coach Megan Smith said. “When we went to recruit these players, we were looking for impact players – players that could come in and make an immediate impact in the Big 12. We found them.”
