For the first time since 2006, the Kansas University softball team is ranked in the top 25, as the Jayhawks came in at No. 22 in the Ultimate College Softball Poll released on Tuesday.
KU, which had been receiving votes in at least one of the three major softball polls for the last four weeks, was last ranked in the top 25 when it landed the No. 22 spot in the final ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll on June 6, 2006.
