Eugene, Ore. ? Kansas University’s Mason Finley placed 11th in the shot put and Rebeka Stowe was 11th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on the final day of the U.S. Championships on Sunday.
Finley, from Salida, Colo., had his best throw of the day (19.47 meters, or 63 feet, 101/2 inches) on his second attempt in the prelims, but he didn’t advance to the finals.
Stowe, from Olathe, was 11th in 10:05.03.
