Eugene, Ore. ? Five Kansas University track and field athletes saw action on Friday at the Senior and Junior USA Championships at Hayward Field.
Freshman Diamond Dixon took the second-best time in the junior women’s 400 meters semifinals.
Dixon will run in the event final at 8 tonight.
In other KU news: Jessica Maroszek placed third in the junior shot put; Dalen Fink finished ninth in the junior 800-meter run; Rebeka Stowe took 10th in the senior 3,000-meter steeplechase semifinals; and Andrea Guebelle placed 11th in the senior triple jump.
