College fund set up for KU softball coach’s son

By J-W Staff Reports     Jun 25, 2011

A college scholarship fund has been established for the 3-year-old son of Kansas University softball coach Megan Smith, whose husband, Paul Buske, passed away earlier this week after a battle with cancer.

Smith’s family is asking that, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, contributions be made to the fund, which will benefit Cooper Smith Buske.

Anyone wishing to donate should make a check out to the “Cooper Buske College Fund” and mail it to the following address: KU Credit Union; c/o Jordan Urich; 1300 West 23rd Street; Lawrence, KS, 66046.

The bank requested if you are going to donate, to include a small sheet of paper signifying that you are donating to the account ending in “4410.” Also include your email address.
