By J-W Staff Reports     Jul 8, 2011

Gary Woodland, a native of Topeka and graduate of Kansas University, shot two-under par through 12 holes on Friday to lower his overall score to one-under at the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart Golf Links in Inverness, Scotland.

Play was suspended in the afternoon because of inclement weather. Woodland will complete his second round on Saturday morning.

At one-under, Woodland sits in a tie for 93rd place. On the European Tour, the top 65 players (including ties) make the cut.

Scott Jamieson, Graeme McDowell and Peter Whiteford lead the tournament with two-round scores of 11-under par.
