Former Kansas University point guard Sherron Collins on Thursday was cut by the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. Forward Dominic McGuire also was waived on a day the team traded Gerald Wallace to Portland for Joel Przybilla, Dante Cunningham, Sean Marks and a conditional 2011 and a conditional 2013 first-round draft pick.
