Liz Kocon’s 12th home run of the season gave Kansas University’s softball team its only runs of the day. The Jayhawks were swept by Tulsa, 3-0 and 4-2, in a doubleheader Wednesday at Arrocha Ballpark.

KU fell to 28-19, while Tulsa improved to 35-11.

Eight Jayhawks combined for 11 hits over the two games, but Tulsa’s pitchers combined for 20 strikeouts on the day, including 12 from Aimee Creger in her complete-game victory during the nightcap.

Kansas will face Iowa State on Friday and Saturday in Ames, Iowa.
