OSU forward off to North Texas

? Oklahoma State forward Roger Franklin is transferring to North Texas to be closer to home.

North Texas announced Monday that the 6-foot-5 Franklin, from Duncanville, has signed with the Mean Green.

He played in 56 games the past two seasons for Oklahoma State.

Franklin wants to be closer to home because his father is ill.
