Harris shot a course-record 60 in June, 2008, at Limestone Springs in Birmingham, Ala. He placed 16th at the 2010 Alabama State Amateur tournament and 15th in the Future Masters tournament in 2009.

“This is an exciting day for KU golf, to sign the No. 1 junior-college player in the country,” Kansas coach Kit Grove said. “Paul is an extremely talented player, and we expect him to have an immediate impact at KU. Not only is he a great player, but he’s also an excellent person who will be a great addition to our university.”
