Kansas University softball coach coach Megan Smith announced Wednesday that freshman Marisa Malazzo will round out the 2011 KU softball roster.
A native of Dallas, Malazzo was a four-year letter-winner in softball for Coppell High (Texas).
Malazzo joins fellow newcomers Kristin Martinez (Texas City, Texas), Kendra Cullum (Conroe, Texas), Colleen Hohman (Naperville, Ill.), Elsa Moyer (Kirkland, Wash.), Ashley Newman (Salina), Ashley Spencer (Arkansas City) and Laura Vickers (Olathe) for the 2010-11 season.
