? Nebraska coach Doc Sadler goes into Friday’s opener against South Dakota with strong support from athletic director Tom Osborne.

Osborne told the Associated Press on Wednesday that Sadler’s job security is not an issue this season, regardless of the team’s record. Osborne said Sadler deserves an opportunity to recruit to the new practice facility that opens next fall. The Cornhuskers move into a new arena in 2013.

Sadler is 70-58 in four years at Nebraska, but just 23-41 in the Big 12.
