Kansas University junior outfielder Casey Lytle and junior relief pitcher Brett Bochy were named Big 12 Player and Pitcher of the Week for the week on Monday.
Lytle, a junior from Phoenix, went 7-for-13 with six runs scored and four doubles in a three-game series at No. 1 LSU over the weekend.
Bochy, a redshirt junior from Poway, Calif., earned a pair of saves in KU’s series victory over LSU and retired 11 of the 13 batters he faced.
