Kansas women’s golfer Jennifer Clark is an alternate for the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship after her performance at the sectional qualifying this week.
Clark, a senior-to-be for the Jayhawks, shot a 72 to force a playoff for the final qualifier Tuesday at the Shoal Creek Golf Course in Kansas City, but fell short in the playoff. Clark will now wait to hear if a spot opens up for the championship.
