Thirteen members of the Kansas University swimming and diving team were named to the first or second Academic All-Big 12 teams this week.
First-team members: Joy Bunting, Sarah Hettenbach, Taylor Ilten, Monica Johannessen, Amanda Maez, Stephanie Payne, Alyssa Potter, Brittany Potter, Cora Powers and Rebecca Swank.
Second-team members: Brooke Brull, Shannon Garlie and Iuliia Kuzhil.
Four members of Kansas University’s swim team have been named Academic All-Americans by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
Former Jayhawk Emily Lanteigne, senior Amanda Maez and sophomores Monica Johannessen and Rebecca Swank were all first-team selections.
