Collins does not play in Bobcats’ summer league game Wednesday

? Former Kansas University guard Sherron Collins did not play (coach’s decision) during the Charlotte Bobcats summer league team’s 92-71 loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

Still, Charlotte Observer Bobcats’ beat writer Rick Bonnell reported that not a whole lot should be taken from the fact that Collins didn’t make it in.

“Bobcats assistant coach Dave Hanners said Collins is probably the best pure point guard of the four on this summer roster,” Bonnell wrote. “Hanners is trying to distribute the minutes between all four, so two generally sit each game.”

Robinson scores four

Former Kansas guard Russell Robinson contributed four points in the Indiana Pacers summer league team’s 83-74 victory over Utah. Robinson, who played 13 minutes, was 1-for-3 from the floor and 2-for-4 from the free-throw line.
