Dominique Sutton to transfer from K-State

? Senior forward Dominique Sutton has been released from his scholarship and will transfer.

Coach Frank Martin said Friday that Sutton hopes to finish his career in North Carolina, where he has two small children.

Sutton started all but one of Kansas State’s 37 games last year. He averaged 7.2 points and nearly six rebounds last year as the Wildcats advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time since 1988.

In a three-year career, he made 76 starts and appeared in 90 games. He is on track to graduate.
