Kansas freshman guard C.J. Henry did not make the team’s trip to Iowa State because of a deep bone bruise on his tailbone that he suffered at practice Friday.
KU coach Bill Self said Henry went up to block a shot and had a four-to-five foot fall right on his back. Tests showed no broken bones, but Henry did have a deep bone bruise.
Self said he saw no way Henry would be able to play in Monday’s game against Missouri.
