Tennessee basketball coach Bruce Pearl said Thursday that no official decision has been made on the status of four players for Sunday’s game against Kansas.

Tyler Smith, Cameron Tatum, Melvin Goins and Brian Williams have been suspended over a New Year’s Day arrest involving guns and marijuana.

“Will something happen in the next couple of days? I don’t know,” Pearl told the Knoxville News-Sentinel. “I’m preparing as though they won’t play. There’s been no official decision made.”

The four did not play in UT’s 88-71 victory over Charlotte on Wednesday night.
