Alabama unanimous No. 1 in final AP poll

Alabama players celebrate their newly-won BCS Championship. Alabama beat Texas, 37-21, in the national title game Thursday in Pasadena, Calif.

Alabama received all 60 first-place votes in the final Associated Press football ranking released Friday morning.

The Crimson Tide (14-0) defeated Texas, 37-21, in the BCS championship game Thursday night at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

Texas finished second, followed by Florida, Boise State and Ohio State.

Other Big 12 teams in the final rankings were Nebraska (14th) and Texas Tech (21st).
