Kiawah Island, S.C. ? Emily Powers fired a 1-over-par 73 to lead the Kansas University women’s golf team on a difficult second day at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic on Monday.
The Jayhawks dropped 11 shots from their opening-round 303, as Powers was the only KU player to break 80 on Monday. On Sunday, all five Jayhawks shot 79 or better.
