KU remains No. 1 in both polls; K-State up to 6th

For the third straight week, Kansas earned the No. 1 spot in both national rankings.

The Jayhawks compiled 61 of 65 first-place votes in the Associated Press poll and 30 of 31 first-place votes in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.

Kansas State moved up to sixth in both polls, its highest ranking this season.

Other Big 12 teams in the rankings included Texas (21st AP, 21st coaches), Texas A&M (22nd, 23rd) and Baylor (24th, unranked).
