Reesing looking at CFL?

By Matt Tait     Apr 26, 2010

Former Kansas University quarterback Todd Reesing, the school’s all-time leader in nearly every passing category, may be headed to the Canadian Football League.

After being bypassed in this weekend’s NFL Draft, Reesing currently is exploring his options to sign with an NFL club via free agency or take a chance in another league such as the CFL or the Arena League.

Rob Vanstone, of The Regina Leader-Post, a newspaper in Saskatchewan, reports that Reesing is on the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ negotiation list, which means the Roughriders own Reesing’s CFL rights. What’s more, several posts on Internet message boards associated with the team already are clamoring for the record-setting quarterback to come to town.

On Friday, the organization announced the release of former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell.
