Norman, Okla. ? Megan Gockel, Emily Powers and Grace Thiry were tied for 35th place with first-round 78s as Kansas University got off to a rocky start at the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championships at Austin OU Golf Club.
KU was in 12th place with 314 strokes.
Kansas’ Jennifer Clark and Meghna Bal were tied for 46 with 80s.
