KU men’s golf sixth

Nate Barbee led the Kansas men’s golf team to a tie for sixth place after two rounds at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic on Monday at the Wichita Country Club.

The Jayhawks shot a 302 in round one and improved by two strokes in round two.

Barbee struggled in the morning round with a 77 before responding with an even-par 71 in round two.

Wichita State leads the event after two rounds at 582.

The final round is today.
