Kansas women’s golf adds state champ

Indiana high school state champion Meghan Potee signed a national letter of intent to play golf at Kansas University on Friday.

Potee, who is from Noblesville, Ind., claimed state medalist honors by five shots in the two-round tournament this fall. Potee was tied for first after the first round with a 76 and then fired a 71 on the second and final day to win the title.
