Leawood ? Kansas University junior Emily Powers shot a 10-over-par 81 in the first round of the Duramed FUTURES Tour event on Friday. With only 72 of the 144 players completing play due to bad weather, Powers, the only amateur in the field, finished the day tied for 54th place among those who completed their rounds.
