Kansas vaulter Scott third at NCAAs

? Kansas University’s Jordan Scott placed third in the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Scott, a junior from Watkinsville, Ga., had the same mark as runner-up Yavgeniy Olhovsky of Virginia Tech. He was .15 meters behind winner Jason Colwick of Rice.
