Kansas University’s women’s golf team has been selected as the Golfweek.com women’s team of the week.
The Jayhawks placed four players in the top 10 and coasted to a 24-shot victory last weekend at the Duramed Collegiate in Rio Verde, Ariz. The win improved Kansas 10 spots to No. 70 in the Golfweek rankings.
“We were consistent the whole weekend, which was nice to see,” KU coach Erin O’Neil said. “It is difficult to play with the lead, but we stuck to our game plan and held on.”
