I was privileged to get to know Dr. Frederick through my years at the Big Eight Conference and the Big 12 Conference. He was highly respected as an administrator and a friend to all as the Kansas AD and KU faculty. Since I have been a part of Kansas Athletics, Dr. Frederick has kept in contact with me and the athletic department staff. As a KU faculty member, he would often send us his top students to serve internships. You knew you were getting a hard working student if Dr. Frederick recommended him or her.
