KU’s Gockel falls in quarterfinals

Albany, Ga. ? Kansas University senior golfer Meghan Gockel fell in the quarterfinals of the Women’s Southern Golf Association Amateur on Thursday.

Gockel fell to current USGA Junior Girls champion Alexis Thompson, 4 and 3.
