Three KU soccer players picked NSCAA All-Region

Kansas defender Estelle Johnson, midfielder Monica Dolinsky and forward Emily Cressy were named All-Central Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Johnson and Dolinsky were named to the second team, while Cressy was a third-team selection.

Cressy, a sophomore from Ventura, Calif., led the Jayhawks with 12 goals and 27 points this season.

Dolinsky, a senior from Carmel, Ind., scored six goals and tied a career high with 10 assists.

Johnson, a senior defender from Fort Collins, Colo., played in all 22 matches this season. Her 1,987 minutes were the fourth-most in team history among field players. She finished her career tied for the most games started in school history (82).
