Keena Mays, a 5-foot-7 guard from Arlington, Texas, verbally committed to the Kansas women’s basketball team earlier this week.

“Ultimately it’s where I felt most comfortable,” Mays told ESPN.

Mays, the 93rd-ranked player for the class of 2010 in the ESPN HoopGurlz Hundred, chose KU over California, Central Florida, Illinois, Miami, North Carolina State and Texas A&M, according to ESPN.
