Prices have been set for Kansas University’s baseball game against Missouri on April 22 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Tickets for students are $7 on April 22. KU students typically get into Hoglund Ballpark for free with a valid KUID.
“I think people understand this is a little bit of a different deal,” KU associate athletic director Jim Marchiony said. “I don’t think the $7 would keep any KU baseball fan from coming to the game.”
General admission tickets are $10, children’s tickets (ages 6-18) are $5, and children under 5 get in for free.
It will be only the second time in school history that KU will meet Missouri in Kansas City, according to the Kansas baseball media guide, which lists locations for KU games as early as 1925.
The April 22 game, set for 7 p.m., won’t count in the Big 12 Conference standings. Marchiony said Kansas had every intention to face Missouri again at Kauffman Stadium in 2010.
KU, which swept Oklahoma State last weekend, was named College Baseball Insider’s team of the week this past week.
