Kansas University junior golfer Emily Powers received a sponsor’s exemption to compete in the Mercedes-Benz Championship of Kansas City from May 15-17 at Leawood South Country Club.
It is the third year for the Duramed FUTURES Tour event, the developmental tour of the LPGA. The top ten money winners on the FUTURES Tour earn LPGA Tour cards at the end of the season.
